Ole Johnny Holten started dog sledding in 2015, and in 2016, the Stengelsen Husky kennel was established at Stengelsen in Alta.
Ole Johnny ran his first dog sled race in 2017 and has participated in events such as Beskades 300, Troms Quest, and the Finnmarksløpet FL500 and FL1200.
This season, we’ve hosted groups of up to 27 people, but our experience has shown that smaller groups offer the best experiences. Moving forward, we’re focusing on small, intimate groups of 4–6 people. This allows us to get to know each guest better and create a personal and private adventure in the Arctic landscape.
