Josefsen Transport offers bus transport in the Alta region and has capacity for anything from 5 to 59 people.
Founder Jan M. Josefsen started his driver career in Alta in 1971 and in 1982 Josefsen Transport was established. The two sons hung out and played in the bus from the moment they could climb the steps to the bus. Tor Johnny took over the family business in May 2020, after his little brother passed away.
In recent years, the bus fleet has been expanded with more buses. They offer school routes and tour bus transport. The company has defibrillators in all buses and offers annual first aid courses for employees.
The company has large capacity and collaborates with several tour bus companies and can therefore offer even greater capacity when needed.
Josefsen Transport is located in Kvænangen and Alta and is an approved apprenticeship company. The company has licenses for both tour buses, freight and taxi transport. Josefsen Transport is also eco lighthouse certified.
