As you sit in the sleigh and glide quietly through the forest, you hear little more than the sound of the reindeer’s hooves against the snow. The silence, the Arctic air and the closeness to nature create a unique sense of calm.
If weather and sky conditions are favourable, you may experience the magical Northern Lights dancing across the sky. The experience can also take place during the daytime, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful Arctic light and the soft colours of the winter landscape.
Along the way, we stop in a traditional lavvu. Around the fire, our Sámi guides share stories about our culture, history and semi-nomadic way of life. Cake and a hot drink are served in the warm and intimate surroundings.
