The Snowtrain Adventure begins in the Gargia valley, where the frosted Arctic landscape surrounds you in quiet winter stillness. From here, we travel gradually upward, moving through snow-covered birch forest as the terrain begins to open and the wilderness takes over.
As we climb out of the valley and reach the edge of Finnmarksvidda, the landscape transforms. The trees disappear, giving way to vast open plateau, one of Europe’s largest wilderness areas. Pulled comfortably in heated sleds behind a snowmobile, you glide across endless white terrain and wide horizons that seem to stretch forever.
This is Æventyr’s most accessible winter experience. There is nothing to learn and no physical demands, just a comfortable seat and the Arctic unfolding all around you. It is suitable for families, grandparents, and anyone who wants to experience the landscape without driving a snowmobile themselves.
