In Kautokeino, you’ll experience authentic Sami culture up close, from traditional handicrafts to storytelling by the fire. One of the highlights of the tour is visiting a reindeer herder, where you’ll meet the animals and gain insight into the age-old connection between the Sámi people and their reindeer. The northern lights often dance across the sky here in winter, adding a magical touch to an already unforgettable adventure.
We will stay in a comfortable accommodation. After check-in we visit a traditional Sami camp for an evening with the reindeer herder and his reindeer. We will end the evening in a traditional lavvo by the fire with culture experience and local food. The menu for the evening will be based on local food and local food that gives you a unique culinary experience.
