Experience the Arctic from Reinfjord, a remote coastal village accessible only by boat and surrounded by the mountains and deep waters of Kvænangen fjord.
During this three-day expedition, you will join our experienced captain and guide aboard a purpose-built RIB to search for orcas, humpback whales and other marine wildlife. Every day is different, and our itinerary is adapted to the weather, sea conditions and movements of the animals.
When conditions are suitable, guests aged 16 and over may have the opportunity to enter the water and observe orcas in their natural environment. Water entry is never guaranteed and is always decided by the captain and guide, with safety and respect for the animals as the highest priorities.
Our approach is calm and responsible. We never chase the whales, and swimmers enter the water only when the animals’ behaviour and the surrounding conditions allow it. This creates more natural encounters while minimising disturbance to the wildlife.
Beyond the time at sea, guests can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of our Reinfjord camp, warm up in the sauna, relax in the jacuzzi and share meals and stories with fellow travellers. Our Whale School provides an opportunity to learn more about the animals, their behaviour, the local ecosystem and the research conducted in the region.
This is more than a whale-watching trip: it is an immersive Arctic experience in one of Northern Norway’s wildest and most secluded fjords.
