We begin with a 25-minute drive from Alta to Leirbotnvatn, where we switch to snowmobiles for a short ride up to our cozy mountain cabin. For those who prefer walking, we also offer the option of a brief 8-9 minute walk.
The cabin is perched at the top, offering a stunning view of the landscape—an ideal spot to see the Northern Lights or simply soak in the majestic surroundings. At the cabin, you can relax by a warm fire in the grill house, where we serve freshly made waffles and hot drinks like coffee and cocoa. On clear nights, we also light an outdoor fire so you can enjoy the atmosphere under the open sky.
The cabin is equipped with restroom facilities (outdoor toilet). This exclusive 3.5-hour experience combines comfort with the authentic nature of Northern Norway—a night you won’t soon forget.
