Our huskies are at the centre of everything we do. It was therefore natural to place the dogyard at the centre of our location. We will teach you what it takes to care for around hundred Alaska huskies and what we do to prepare them for racing. Don’t worry, you’ll get plenty of opportunity to spend time with the dogs and their puppies. Feed their cuddling-habit and get yourself some furry friends. Prepare yourself; for muddy paws, new knowledge about dogsledding and lots of fun!
First guests are welcomed by their guide who will explainhow they will go through 3 different activities.
- Activity 1: Meet all the adult huskies in the yard.
- Activity 2: Visit the puppy garden were there will be lots of small furry friend waiting
- Activity 3: Practical presentation by guide on how the dog sled/cart works and how the dogs are put in the team
The visit finishes with some snacks and drinks either in a Traditional Lavvo or outside if it’s warm weather. Storytelling will be done throughout the whole visit
