Havøysund, located on the island of Havøya, is a small fishing village with just over 900 inhabitants.

Due to its remote and hard-to-reach location, it remains largely unknown to the wider public. However, it is a hidden gem that is a must-visit for anyone who loves exploring off-the-beaten-path destinations and authentic places untouched by mass tourism.

Throughout the trip, our expert guides will share fascinating insights about this remote yet incredible corner of the Arctic. As professional photographers, they’ll also ensure you capture stunning memories to take home. Keep in mind that the Arctic winter can be particularly harsh, with freezing temperatures, heavy snowfall, and strong gusts of wind. This makes the experience especially challenging, depending on the weather conditions.

But don’t worry: we are fully equipped and prepared to handle even the most extreme situations. Additionally, we stay constantly updated on road conditions and any convoys required to navigate the most difficult stretches.

Are you ready for an Arctic adventure in its most authentic form?

Be aware: although Auroras usually appear in the sky after 6pm, it will still be possible that they appear on the way back. In such case we’ll make an extra stop to enjoy the Green Lady.
