Exploring Northern Norway by car is an unforgettable experience – with dramatic landscapes, open roads, and countless places to stop and take in the view. At the same time, road conditions and driving culture may be unfamiliar to many visitors.
To help make the journey safer for everyone, two short films have been developed by NordNorsk Reiseliv, in collaboration with road safety experts, the police, and the car rental industry. They offer simple, practical tips for driving on northern roads, from respecting speed limits to using passing places and stopping safely along the way.
